Why does fresh pre-cut fruit always taste better than preparing it yourself?

I say this shoveling my face in the short gap between meetings today.
Ordered food from Aburaya and this was a great idea.
So of course today is "more coffee day."
Yesterday was a long day just sitting in front of a computer and I drank way too much coffee and that's how I gained the "who needs sleep?" superpower today.
