Purchasing a vehicle in Thailand is like purchasing a house in the States: a foreigner can’t buy one and there’s a mountain of paperwork. That said, I’m very happy with the car.
I put over 100 miles on my car today, and was probably in the driver's seat for 6+ hours of that. It really didn't feel that long.
Got myself a two wheeled distraction the other day after months of driving by the same outfit and longingly staring at the options. The four wheeled distraction will be delivered on Monday. But this is wonderful anytime: slow biking through the rice paddies on a cool, cloudy day.
My understanding of Thailand is inverse to the length of my stay. The longer I stay, the less I understand. This may be a good thing.
Technical interviews have me drained. Seems I don't do well while people stare at me. It's going to take some time to overcome this.
